Summary/Abstract: In my work I am writing about previous completed documentaries, created by the directors who are responsible for a success of their recent high‐profile films. Jan Komasa, Greg Zglinski, Leszek Dawid and Bartosz Konopka began their productions with documentaries. Many of their lms were praised by the critics. Documentary filmed by Bartosz Konopka was even nominated for an Oscar. This work is not only a description of documentary movies, but also contains information about the directors and their creative origins.
