Summary/Abstract: In my essay I tried to show the similarities between the change in the cinema caused by Dogme 95 and the evolution in the american television in the late 90’s. In both cases the truth behind the story played major role and was achieved by introducing certain techniques and strategies. In my article I tried to describe some of them.
