PSYCHOLOGICAL ASPECT OF DIGITAL SECURITY

Summary/Abstract: Digital security is an extensive subject, part of which is the safe use of modern technology, including such forms of new media as the Internet, television and video games. The main psychological threat posed by information and communication technology, is the problem of violence in the media, including electronic aggression. The article presents studies on the effect of watching violence on television and in films, playing in violent video games, and being a victim or perpetrator of electronic aggression. The possible consequences were indicated, and highlighted the role of education in preventing negative effects of technological progress.
