Summary/Abstract: The article presents the guiding principles concerning the compatibility of the regulations from the Member States regarding the online gambling with the provisions of the Treaty for the functioning of the European Union, taking into account the fact the online gambling market is the segment with the highest growth in the global market of online gambling with very large profit and the member states must protect its consumers and guarantee the full transparency and non discriminatory concurrence.
