Secularization and its influences over the Christian moral

Summary/Abstract: The title of my work is „The influences of secularism upon Christianmorals”, and it emphasizes on the impact that this issue has upon the humanspirit. In order for us to understand what secularism, or globalization means,we have to know that whether we want it, or not, it is part of our lives. Sometheologians may refer to it as being the alienation from the Church’s authenticway of life, and it defines the infiltration of the worldly spirit, that slowlydiminishes the authentic values and virtues that the Church spreads aroundthrough the gospel.I have structured my work into four topics that mite define, in my opinion,some of the dangers that globalization brings: The first topic describes aboutthe balance between Christian morals, and actual social values. It also stressesupon the differences between social ethics and Christian values, that can beeasily related to virtues. People have social values impregnated in their souls,but these are different from what the Church teaches us.The second topic deals about social contemporary thinking, and it’sconsequences upon Christian morals. It shows the differences between socialmorals, and Christian morals. Although some may say that these issuesdescribe the same idea, Christian values are very different from social values,because Christian values are based on the word of God, or on the gospel,whereas social values are mainly based on optimism.The third topic contains details about religious relativism and the Church’srole in spreading the truth, and the fourth topic describes the influences ofmedia upon the relationship between man and God. I tried to emphasize on thislast topic on the influences that the media has especially upon families, andchildren.
