Summary/Abstract: Social communication is a process of communication between individuals, groups or institutions. The primary goal of social communication in public administration is to ensure transparency by informing about the activities and tasks, to create positive change in the image of the administration as well as promotion, understood as communication with the social environment to further improve operations. As a result the quality of service is increased and new better labor standards of administration are formed. Creating a positive image, effective information campaigns supported by the public consultation as well as the use of local media, the Internet and mobile telephony are effective forms and methods of social communication in public administration.
