The activity of Polish non-governmental organizations in the Internet

Summary/Abstract: The starting point for the discussion is the assumption that communication mediated by the ICT should be a key element of the strategic management of non-governmental organization. It allows to reach with information about the mission and NGO’s goals to a wider audience. The author presents the results of surveys conducted on a group of Polish non-governmental organizations, that allows to diagnose the level of information and communication competence of people engaging in everyday activities of Polish NGOs.
