Summary/Abstract: The Romanian Army in Budapest (1919-1920). Romanian Military Administration and the Perception of the Hungarian Society. The present paper aims at presenting the Romanian army's campaign to conquer Budapest and free Hungary from Bela Kun's Bolshevik administration. At the same time, we shall follow the evolution of the social-political events in the Hungarian capital during the four months of the Romanian army's military occupation, as well as the perception of the Hungarian society on the occupation regime, the Romanian officers and soldiers, on the Romanian people in general. We shall also make a detailed description of everyday life in Budapest, both in the communist and the Romanian military occupation periods.
