Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to supplement the first article published in this journal in 2014. It deals with the historicity of Athenian impiety trials after the trial of Socrates in 399 BCE, their socio-political context, and relevant legal issues. It also tries to give a summary of the questions concerning impiety trials of the Classical period.
