Summary/Abstract: The duties of residential house administrators are determined by the “Law on Administration ofResidential Houses”. The same law also specifies that owners should provide their administrators with necessary finance, so that the latter could carry out the process of administration and management.The author of this article researched the obligation of residential house administrators in Latvia to perform certain actions stipulated by law in situations when they encounter the problem of insufficient fundingon the part of the residential house owners. The existing debate on this question points to the insufficientlegal regulation of the issue and underlines the urgency of the problem.The goal of the article was to contemplate on the need to secure legislatively the scope of duties of residential house administrators when necessary financial means are not provided by the owners.The duties of residential house administrators are determined by the “Law on Administration of Residential Houses”.
