Summary/Abstract: There are many studies that have confirmed the negative impact of language anxiety not only on using a second language but also on further language learning. Language anxiety can be defined as the fear or apprehension occurring when a learner is expected to perform in the second or foreign language or the worry and negative emotional reaction when learning or using a second language. The purpose of this article is to present the impact of anxiety on language learning, and more specifically, the description of his academic, cognitive, social and personal effects.
