Summary/Abstract: In the education of younger children there is a large number of principles or concepts that place various values, principles, and premises in the forefront. One of the more recent, alternative, postmodern educational concepts is the Reggio Emilia one. It was developed in Italy and has to date spread into many countries around Europe and in America.
