Summary/Abstract: RESEARCH PURPOSE: The aim of the article is a synthetic presentation of problem areas and identification of issues which appear on the verge of the term “family and school synergy.” RESEARCH PROBLEM AND METHODS: The research problem is formulated as follows: which issues are included in the pedagogical reflection on the synergy of family and school. The article probes the directions of analysis (contexts) of the theoretical and practical references in the area of family and school synergy. The method used in the article include literature analysis as well as selection and content reconstruction in order to obtain the synthesis of the discussed issues. THE PROCESS OF ARGUMENTATION: The aim of the article is fulfilled in the process of argumentation, which consists of: the introduction of the issue, the presentation of understanding of family and school synergy, its selected contexts as well as theoretical models and principles. Next, an example of a study and its results illustrating some of the issues relating to family and school synergy are presented. RESEARCH RESULTS: Reflection undertaken in the article indicates multidimensionality of the analysed area. Presented models point at diversity within studied reality and the results of exemplary surveys suggest changes in some dimensions of cooperation between family and school. CONCLUSIONS, INNOVATIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: It is necessary to further develop universal studies devoted to the issue in question, including family and school synergy models as well as to design and implement narrow programs at schools.
