Summary/Abstract: The article presents various opinios about the interaction between the young generation and new technologies,underlining the consequences upon youngsters’ behaviour and attitudes. Many researchers and professors consider that the new generation has no attachment to the values of reading and learning and they reject everything in this matter. Professor Tap scott achieved an important survey upon the Net Generation which has grown up in the digital era. Thisgeneration wants liberty of expression andin every aspect of its life. They deal naturallywith up-to-date technologies and includethem in everyday life. Teaching has alsochanged a lot in the last decades and the newgeneration prefer to be active participants inthe educational process. This generation full ofresources and with its reflexes adjusted to thepresent speed and liberty can transform all themodern institutions and replace a culture ofcontrol with a culture of performance.
