Summary/Abstract: This article aims to provide the interpretation of the results for two questionnaires applied on pupils and high-school graduates, on the one hand, and students, on the other hand. They explored their perceptions and needs in relation to the activities and programs organized by university career centers and also in relation to career and labor market. The analysis of career centers’ activities from the perspective of their direct beneficiaries led to the optimization and reconsideration of these structures by suggesting new directions for action. Last but not least, the types of services offered by the counselling and vocational guidance centers at the level of pre-university education, as well as at the level of university education, especially in terms of their exploitation by the direct beneficiaries could produce changes in perception among decision makers, in public policy.
