Turkey- Armenia: A Quest for Reconciliation Efforts

Summary/Abstract: Influence of historical events on the relations between countries is observed quite frequently. However, it is hardly seen that the historical events go beyond “some” influence and begin playing a more deterministic role in relations between those countries, especially if almost a century has passed since those events. This is the case concerning the relations between Turkey and Armenia and the burden of historical events is the main reason which obstructs the normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations.
