Summary/Abstract: This study aims to identify the variations that appear in the scientific journal rankings from using three different bibliometric indicators: the impact factor, the article influence score, and the eigenfactor. This paper will also present a comparative analysis of the rankings of journals from three fields (Multidisciplinary, Information Science, Library Science and Linguistics) and will express views on the appropriateness of using these indicators in libraries.
