Timbre and expressive possibilities of the bassoon and the theoretical and compositional searching Of M. Denysenko

Summary/Abstract: The Ukrainian chamber music of the end of XX – beginning of XXI centuries is characterized by strengthening of the composer's attention to the expressive properties of the instrument as a factor of the dramatic, composite sound creation logic that updates the study sound expression specificity and concert instrument building, particularly, a bassoon. Methodology. The problem of the development of the bassoon art in the postmodern artistic ideas is presented from the point of analytical, conceptual and cultural theoretical and methodological approaches of modern musicology. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty of the work is to highlight the content and professional characteristics of performing compositions for a bassoon in the genre of chamber and instrumental music. In addition, the author identifies the specific features of the process of interpretation as a dialectical process of unity and results of the development of artistic and imaginative content of the work and instrumental activities of a bassoonist. Conclusions. The article analyses the theoretical and compositional work of Marina Denysenko. The article states that the essential tasks of the composer in modern composite searching are to overcome the limitations of communication forms and to achieve the mental integrity of the musical sound. The substantial compliance with the expressive works is provided by the enrichment of the techniques and means of musical expression. The significant place among them belongs to the timbre.
