Summary/Abstract: The main aim of the article is to collect experience to facilitate the start of a new project of an Old Church Slavonic e-dictionary. The article is divided into four main parts. The first part discusses the advantages of the electronic dictionaries compared to the printed ones. The second part presents a relatively large overview of the current European electronic diachronic lexicography together with the introduction to the terminology problematics. The remaining two parts can be considered as the core of the article as they provide a description of the strategies of putting the diachronic lexicographical works on-line and a detailed analysis of the structure features found in the current e-dictionaries seen from the final user’s point of view. The outcome of the article is the evaluation and recommendations for the elaboration of a diachronic e-dictionary.
