Some Aspects of Spatial Development of Krupanj

Summary/Abstract: The efects of natural and socio-economical factors (political, demographic, cultural, social, etc) on the genesis and overal development of the Krupanj were significant in all historic eras, from the Antic times to the present day. During many centuries of Krupanj’s evolution, which had several stages of development: initial, early polifunctional, middle polifunctional, and contemporarry polifunctional, Krupanj changed his spatial, morpho-phisionomic, demographic, ethno-cultural, and functional features. In this paper, we analized some spatial structure changes of this town and tendences of development.
