Art gallery in modern social and cultural space of Ukraine

Summary/Abstract: The definition of the role and place of art galleries in the context of formation and development of the new socio-cultural environment of Ukraine. Methodology. The methodology of the research includes the method of systematization and synthesis of information. They allow you to analyze the development stages and features of art gallery in the domestic art space. Scientific Novelty. The scientific novelty consists in updating the main aspects of the art galleries in Ukraine in the context of changes of cultural and artistic paradigm. Conclusions. An art gallery organically has already entered the cultural life of society. It is an institution where new creative concepts are represented and gallery's activity becomes a characteristic feature of the present cultural process.
