Summary/Abstract: In the earliest text dedicated to Paul Celan Gadamer tries to answer the question about what concealmentis, namely the almost deliberate concealment of meaning, so skillfully settled by the poet. Resortingto the analysis of the poem «Tenebrae» Gadamer shows that specific technique of writing, which releasesmultilevelness of semantic content using block concatenation of words. But the unity of semanticintention, this the most difficult work, is left here to the reader.
