Summary/Abstract: The article considers the signifficance of Liudas Truikys‘s (1904–1987) scenography projects in the history of Lithuanian Orientalism. It focuses on various Eastern culture elements in the Weltanschauung and art pieces of the artist. It qualifies the latter as a characteristic example of Lithuanian artist who was highly influenced by Eastern cultural traditions and graetly relayed on them while solving his own artistic problems.
