Summary/Abstract: Modern-day economy, with ICT evolution and new type of generation (called Z generation), is perfect background for sharing idea. The main aim of the article is to present nowadays state of sharing – in both: theoretical and empirical aspects. The first part of the article focuses on wide range of share-family definitions. In the second part, the paper gives some examples of market practice and shows main survey results (conducted among generation Z).
