Summary/Abstract: In comparative terms, the psychological well-being of religious and non-religious persons (140) was studied in relation to the coping strategies used from them. According to the results obtained, religious people have lower overall psychological well-being. They prioritize emotionally focused copying strategies such as turning to religion, accepting what is happening, behavioral disengagement. At the same time, their psychological well-being, like that of non-religious people, is significantly related to the strategies: decision problem, planning and positive reinterpretation. Established trends imply a special study of the active copying applied by religious persons.
