Summary/Abstract: The characters of Somiglianze showelements of similarities between their iden-tities of suicide victims and the subject whois the voice in the text. This subject indicatesruins, rubbles, rests, in a great typologicalensemble: from the psychological internal ruinto the landscape ruins, or of the suburbs, fromthe rest as marginal life, word, destiny, to theperception of the world as rest, that separatesthe individual subject from the group. Theresearch of similarities functions in this uni-verse of distances, and it seems a progressiveapproach to the recognition of the subjectiveidentity, the true face of the individual whoproves the tragic joy of surviving
