Summary/Abstract: The article examines the connection between politics as a kind of human activity and as a game. With reference to the works of H. G. Gadamer, J. Huizinga and E. Fink, who are proponents of the theories of game, its phenomena, the article reveals the main features and objectives of politics. Shown the connections of politics as an activity with a game. These connections are expressed in four dimensions: certain rules, free choice, risk and competition. Highlighted are the aspects of creativity and abilities (competencies) in politics. Finally, the article looks at the extent to which the politics is consistent with the nature of the game, and to what extent this activity is not playful.
