National safety of the Polish state. Conditions and risks

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the most important issues of national safety threats of Polish Republic in the system problematic. After the collapse of the bipolar system, in the face of systemic transfor-mation, Poland faced the challenge which was to guarantee the sovereignty and security in the new situation. Given the historical experience of our homeland, build a strong state and strengthening national safety is an absolute priority for Polish,and analysis of the national safety threat is neededto pursue a proper direction in shaping national safety. There are a number of threats to national safety, actual and potential, to which the state must be prepared. Polish State Security risks are in-herent in the international situation and the dangers generated in regional and global environment. To strengthen the safety, Poland should work actively in international organizations and support all initiatives leading to a peaceful resolution of conflicts. Creation of Polish national safety requ-ires continuous efforts to strengthen ties between NATO countries and the European Union, buil-ding a strong and well-equipped army, to care for the protection and defense of Polish citizens, and strive for a vibrant, smooth economic development, with particular emphasis on diversification of gas supplies and crude oil. Terrorism has become increasingly widespread phenomenon in the world. Participation in anti-terrorist initiatives,international cooperation in combating terrorist groups, exchange of experience in the fight againstterrorists, and creating an effective system of internal counter-terrorism, is necessary to guarantee safety in Poland. An important element of creating national safety is the protection of the environment in order to ensure the existence of fu-ture generations. The main goal of the Polish stateshould be to develop effective methods for co-untering potential and real threats.
