Summary/Abstract: The authors attempted to analyze the relationship between the interest rates of National Bank of Poland NBP and the value of bank loans for enterprises in Poland in the years 2003–2016. Thus, they analyzed the available literature and presented the theories that are currently dominant in the field of economic policy. Then, based on the instruments of statistical analysis, they examined the relationship between changes in interest rates of NBP and the value of the bank loans contracted by companies. Key findings were presented in the summary.
