Summary/Abstract: It is called employee silence in the act of knowing and willingly keeping the information, idea and opinions related work, work place and organization from the person or managers capable of correcting the present situation for various reasons. Organizational silence is the case when employee silence is widespread in the organization. However, the ideas of those who work in the solution of a problem related to the organization can offer the optimum solution. In this study, the literature on organizational silence has been researched and the negative effects on employees and organizations have been examined. As a result of the research, the negative effects of organizational silence on employees and organizations are parallel to each other in studies in domestic and foreign literature. In addition, an evaluation was made about organizational silence.
