CURRENT POLICY EUROPEAN SECURITY AND DEFENSE

Summary/Abstract: The institutional framework of the European Security and Defense deserves attention because it gives toolbox that EU Member States build consensus on how they will use military and civilian. When heads of state and government of EU member states have decided to give a real European security and defense dimension, they had to ensure both effective mechanisms of decision-making in security. ESDP institutions also contribute to deepening European integration and the development of a safety culture at Community level, a feature currently exist. Election European Union as a tool to strengthen regional security and defense allows the participation of 27 European countries in this building, on par in terms of commitment and responsibilities.
