Summary/Abstract: The article mentions customs of Easter from Poreche region and masked customs of the whole Macedonian folklor territory, and the custom „Betlehemes” from the Hungarian folklore territory, as relatives of the ancient Dionysian festivities.Theese customs have the charachteristics of cult of Dionysos, or generally traces of fertility cults. These are the orgiastic atmosphere, apearance of phallic symbols, custom of ritual plawing and appearance characteristic topics and figures, like parodistic wedding ceremony, sacrify, groom and bride e.t.c. The most characteristic topic is the deth-healing-resuscitation, where the resuscitation is connected to the sexual potency as a vital force. In the mentioned customs these characteristics appear on different level depending on spatial or temporal definiteness. The Macedonian and Hungarian dance folklor differs, mainly in the presence of chain and round dances and presence of the ritual dances. However the dances of custom „Betlehemes” is a connecting point with the Macedonian folklor as they has more similarities to it.
