Summary/Abstract: The human entered the twenty-first century with great technological progress. The concept of transhumanism is currently a very important and popular one. Genetic engineering, neuropharmacology, auto-evolution of the human species are the chief topics in modern science. Ethics dictate human reflection on the development of biotechnology. Francis Fukuyama writes about what may be the limits andconsequences of the development of biotechnology. Because transhu-manism brings with it not only benefits, but also a serious threat to nature and human beings.
