Summary/Abstract: Yugoslavia has concluded social security conventions with 14 countries They ensure social security benefits for Yugoslav nationals who are currently or were in the past temporarily employed in other countries. The following social security conventions have been concluded: (1) General Convention on Social Security between the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia and the Republic of France, January 5, 1950; it went into force April 1, 1951 and was amended February 8, 1966, with validity as of February 1, 1967. (2) General Convention on Social Security between the Federal People’s Republic of Yugoslavia and the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, October 13, 1954; it went into force June 1, 1956 and was amended May 28, 1970, with validity as of October 1,1971.
