Summary/Abstract: Video games in the field of advertising is not new but unexamined both from theoretical and practical point of view. This paper examines the genre in video games, the intention of the video game, the players’ behaviour and the synergy between advertising and video gaming. The main intention of the paper is to give an overview of advertisers on video games, to outline the challenges and opportunities of this medium for advertising.
