Summary/Abstract: In the abovementioned study, the author analyzes the close correlation between the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (adopted by UN General Assembly on December 10, 1948) and the European Convention on Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (adopted in 1957 by the Council of Europe), ratified by Romania in 1994 in the field of the regulation of rights of persons belonging to national minorities.
