Summary/Abstract: This article discusses the appearance of religion in computer games. While this topic still is a rapidly growing field, the achievement of the computer games has already earned a closer look. The analysis starts with the question of whether there is any place in computer games for religion at all. Also, if there are any aspects of religion in the games, how do these aspects manifest themselves? To answer these questions, many theoretical approaches to game studies (narratology, ludology and processive rhetorics) and actual game examples will be used.
