Summary/Abstract: This article continues the historical analysis of the philosophical reception of Friedrich Nietzsche that began in the Independent Lithuania. The Lithuanian works that appeared in the last years before and during WW II are marked by deeper insights into the philosophy of Nietzsche and by the first fully translated work of Nietzsche. From doctoral theses of Vilnius University, the article analyzes the reception of Nietzschean philosophy of art, the quite solid presentation of his concept of creativity, and the analysis of his ideas on moral philosophy. The article also presents the evaluation of Nietzsche’s works in the press of the period.
