Summary/Abstract: This study examines a number of issues regarding: Background of conventional control, which is a mechanism of protection exercised by the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and whose purpose is to review the regulations of a state and to confront it with international standards, and to verify, in each specific case, there is a relationship of harmony between internal and external rules; The Inter-American Court of Human Rights and the control of convention; Principles of Mexican Private Law and a case study about Salvador Chiriboga v. Ecuador. which concerns an issue of expropriation of a real estate.
