Summary/Abstract: The Ninth Congress of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia (LCY) was held in Belgrade from March 11—15, 1969. Since the year 1969 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the foundation of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, the first formal meeting of the Congress, held on March 11, was a commemoration of this anniversary. The President of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia, Josip Broz Tito, delivered a speech on the theme “Fifty Years of the Revolutionary Struggle by the Communists of Yugoslavia” .
