Summary/Abstract: A fund that has not been described has many secrets. How to proceed to those secrets that we discover? During the elaboration of the fundraiser of the lawyer Adalbert Schauff, numerous valuable court cases and litigation were found. Valuable? By what criteria? To begin with, by the names of numerous noble families who were users of the service of the clerk (Jelacic, Draškovic, Sermage, Nugent, Orsic, Rauch, Erdödy, Kukovic and many others). It is well known that in court proceedings, the verdict is based on evidence material, some of which are valuable due to the age of the document, and some because of their interesting content. One case in the evidentiary proceedings that contains an attachment – a document of the Count of Ivan Draškovic from 1646, in which he gives the right and use of numerous land to Count Ivan Vojkfyja Vojkovic, which were the cause of the property-legal proceedings. There are numerous examples in which the original sales contracts and the costumes of the noblemen of Zagreb are attached as evidence. Some of the items are interesting because they are unusual in the evidentiary procedure – one finds that the wasteful Countess Lujza Erdödy, by birth Countess of Lo Presty, was sent to the custody of baron Levin Rauch. There was also the subject of Count Eugen Orsic and his child care is also interesting. I asked myself, what about these particularly valuable and interesting documents? They are featured and digitized, and are further processed. Fund description according to ISAD (G) standard serves researchers who come to us in the Archive. But these interesting and valuable materials found in each fund deserve additional effort, which involves digitizing and making a detailed description. By popularizing interesting content through websites and social networks, we open the public archive in the best possible way, by presenting an interesting read.
