Summary/Abstract: The journal “Archives Practice” has, through its 20 years of existence, greatly contributed to the improvement of archival profession and archival science in general. With every published number, the most current problems could be followed, but also new trends, which, especially with the development of information technologies, entered into the field of archival science. The paper will include an analysis of the contents of the last 10 published issues in order to determine and explain the contribution of the journal in the application of new trends in the work and operation of the archives: information technology as a means of popularizing the archives, public relations.
