Summary/Abstract: In the Travnik Cantonal Archives, donation was received a collection of documents of a court expert with economical profession, which consisted of documentation of the expert procedure, as well as private documents. Considering the special nature of the documentation, by exercising a public authority, we consider that a very interesting collection was received in the Archive. The wish of the lecturer was to ensure that archival material can be used for public, scientific and other social needs after 30 years of its creation. However, such specific documentation requires special processing, protection and conditions. In this paper, we are trying to answer the professional problems that occur with the creator and owners of the archival material of private persons, who by official authorization create public archival material.
