Summary/Abstract: With the increasing age of workers, the workforce's psychophysical characteristics like strength, joint angle range, visual-motor coordination, and body balance are increasingly important for the work performance.The article characterizes parameters describing the psychophysical abilities of employees and procedures of measuring these parameters. Due to the fact that their values change over time, they may be the basis for guidelines for designing work places for older workers.
