Service sector in Poland and in other EU countries

Summary/Abstract: In her article, the author discussed the sector structure of gross value added, employment and investment outlays in Poland as compared with other countries of the European Union. She also presented the ‘internal’ structure of the service sector by PCA (NACE) section. In conclusion, she presented the basic determinants of the present situation in the domestic sector of services and the distance between Poland and highly developed countries in this respect.
