Summary/Abstract: Jūratė Petruškevičienė is a famous artist. She is a long-time lecturer at the Vilnius Art Academy in the Kaunas faculty of the Textile department. She has been a participant in numerous exhibitions in Lithuania and abroad. We know her as a restless modernist, constantly searching for new, original ways of artistic expression and interesting creative decisions in forms in textile sphere. The topics that she analyzes never fail to interest the spectators. The themes of Jūratė Petruškevičienė works are deep, highlighting the value of cultural heritage, forcing us to remember the history of our country, people’s past and the fate of Lithuanian villages.
