Summary/Abstract: In his article, the author analyses opportunities for development of Internet trade in Poland. Making use of the Internet tools in commercial activities has dated in Poland since the beginning of the previous decade, especially since the year 2003. Here are used both websites and Internet shops. In the article, besides the analysis connected with historical data, there are taken into consideration the perspective for development of the branch related to broad-band Internet development.
