Summary/Abstract: One of the main challenges of Local Government Units is their high debts and largecapital needs to finance investments in the Local Government Units in the new financialperspective for 2014–2020. Created in 2015 Fundusz Inwestycji Samorządowych FIZANprovides an opportunity for a partial solution this problem especially due to the organizationof this fund. The aim of the article was to evaluate the possibility of financial supportof investments in LG Us by the new Fundusz Inwestycji Samorządowych FIZAN.
