Predicative Apositive Functioning as Adverbial Complements

Summary/Abstract: This paper discusses the possibility that the predicative apositive can have the function of adverbial complements in a sentence. Based on the analysis of data from the corpus and grammatical literature it is suggested that the predicative apositive can have the role of adverbial complements. All found examples indicate that the meaning of such adverbial complements is predominantly accompanying circumstances meaning.
