Summary/Abstract: Using an autobiographical manner of writing from within the archive, the article presents the major contexts, terms, keywords and consequences of the so-called archival return for the reflection over a private archive. Concurrently, the author is sketching the archaeology of own archive work and moments of reflection on the researched issue that are key for composing a specific academic text and volume of “Czas Kultury”.
